Eyewaer Contact Lenses Appointments

Optometry has changed dramatically over the last 30 years that we have been serving patients. In the past we were only able to provide and fit frames. Today we use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals as needed, treat glaucoma, corneal abrasions, remove foreign objects from the eye, and other conditions.

We offer better frame and lens selection, more education so our patients know why we do what we do, and why it's important to their eye health. Our goal is not to sell you products, but to help you maintain good eye health and vision.

It makes a difference where you get your eyes examined, and the glasses or contacts you purchase. Many people visit us after going to a big discount store for a low price, with a variety of problems that need to be solved.

"Whenever I'm worried about my eyes, and go to Dr. Tallis, he makes me feel comfortable.

It's like going to an old-fashioned doctor's office, where they take time to get to know you."

Diagnostic Instruments

All diagnostic instrumentation used in our office features the unparalleled excellence of Zeiss optics.

Optical Coherence Tomographer (OCT)

Used in detecting Diabetic Retinopathy, retinal detachments, age related Macular Edema, and Glaucoma.

Corneal Topographer

Instead of using 4 points from the central cornea to determine corneal curvature the topographer uses 9000 points to perfectly map the contour of your cornea to improve contact lens fitting.

Visual Fields

Used to detect Glaucoma, retinal detachments, and different tumors along the optic nerve.

Auto Refactor

Used to get a computer assessment of vision, which is especially important in children and those with any language problem.
